The blue flag exercise was over
Ended the “Blue Flag” exercise, which began on Sunday (05/11/17) for 11 days at the Uvda base in southern Israel. This is the largest aerial exercise ever conducted in Israel.
During the exercise, a record number of countries participated: Greece, Poland, Italy, the United States, and for the first time the air forces of France, India and Germany participated. Approximately 1,200 participants participated in the exercise, which included fighter planes, helicopters and transport aircraft that carried out joint flights over ten days. During the exercise, commanders of foreign air forces, ambassadors of the participating countries, including Greece, Germany, France, the United States, Poland, India, Italy and Austria, met.
The Commander of the Air Force, Maj. Gen.
